Two hundred eighty-three milk bottles make for a cracking design!

Cock-a-doodle-doo brightened the day at last year’s Krazy Races with their giant chicken ‘Hennie’ flying down Clasketgate in a blaze of pink feathers with a team in hot pursuit in their inflatable chicken suits.

Despite a crash on the final race, Hennie surprisingly survived the day, and this weekend eggspect to see ‘Hennie’ re-hatched in the team’s egg inspired 100% recycled Soap Box.

Sustainability is the theme for this year’s Soap Box design of a Hen Re-hatched.

Two hundred eighty-three bottles, donated by local cafes, friends, and family, have been strategically superglued to form a golden egg, nestled in a nest of repurposed insulation tubes.

Will this egg crack? Quite possibly! One thing is for sure, Cock-a-doodle-doo, we are flying down Clasketgate on a wing and a prayer!
