High praise for excellent client care!

Team Cock-a-doodle-doo were at the Royal Lancaster, London on Wednesday 2nd July at the CIPR Excellence Awards, an event that celebrates the best marketing agencies, and some of the most awe-inspiring campaigns and communications from the PR industry.

Cock-a-doodle-doo was proud to receive national recognition as one of the best PR agencies and achieve high praise as a finalist in the Best Client Care category for our support of the Rio Ferdinand Foundation, a client we have supported since 2021.

“Whilst the team didn’t win on the night, we flew the flag for Lincolnshire, as the only Lincolnshire Marketing Agency to be invited to the event. To share a stage with the likes of Vodafone, Virgin Media and Mummy Pig from Hasbro is a marvellous feat.

“As a campaign specialist marketing agency, it was fantastic to meet the creative minds behind some of the most standout campaigns of the year, and to share our story with other PR professionals. To be part of this event is testimony to the quality of the work we produce, our commitment to client care, and overall excellence in creative communications.

“I am exceptionally proud of the team for their hard work, energy and creativity they bring to all our clients, as a young agency to receive national recognition as one of the best marketing agencies is a great boost to our confidence.” – Emma Rouse, Managing Director, Cock-a-doodle-doo Marketing.

About the client:

This partnership was hatched in 2021 with a 10th anniversary campaign, ‘United Against Racism’. Against the backdrop of the Black Lives Matter movement, the campaign received significant media coverage.

22 pieces of coverage, 362k online readership and an estimated 3.3k coverage views.

Since then, we have been the trusted communications team for the Rio Ferdinand Foundation, bringing the Foundation brand to life through vibrant and compelling social media storytelling and significant media coverage.

The team has managed the Foundation’s social media, press office, and all brand and design work, as well as developed a new communications strategy, rebuilt the website and created an ambassador marketing strategy.

In 2024, Instagram reach increased from 279,000 to 446,000, while profile impressions grew from 358,000 to 475,000. On X, post impressions increased from 2.9m to 3.4m. Whilst LinkedIn followers increased from 2122 to 3126.

We are also the media team responsible for sharing the Foundation’s impact on a national stage.

In 2024, we generated 68 pieces of PR Coverage, with 2.23 million views reaching an audience of 345.9 million.

Not only do we provide the pre-event campaign plan and design, as well as print and distribution of event materials, but we’re also the media team on the ground, capturing content, running social media, serving as artist liaison, and generally promoting the Foundation’s work to the press.

In 2024, Cock-a-doodle-doo were on site for events at the Molineux Stadium-May 2024, Selhurst Park- October 2024, the International Fund for Ireland’s offices in Dublin- February 2024, the Ralph Lauren offices in London- October 2024, the Statom celebrity ball- November 2024, and in March 2024 Emma and Danny from team Cock-a-doodle-doo were in the West of Ireland for three days supporting the Beyond the Ball campaign.

The celebration event alone achieved 1.6 million media views from 36 channels and 500,000 social media impressions.

This is a partnership of two small teams, working together to engage a youth audience and make a positive difference.
