About us

Communication isn’t just storytelling, it’s about telling a story creatively and telling that story for all to hear.

Filling the gap between expensive agencies and in-house.

For creative communications that speak volumes…

By being different we engage and get results

Lincolnshire creative Marketing agency Cock-a-doodle-doo's founder Emma Rouse poses on a running track in Lincoln, England.

Our Founder / Director

Emma Rouse FCIM

Communications as an industry has blossomed, and I am fortunate to have been employed by some fantastic companies over the last 20 years and have personally delivered 4 award-winning campaigns.

I am proud of the variety of experiences I have gained working for organisations such as the London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games, Nottinghamshire Police, the University of Lincoln, and Arena Racing Company.

Each role is unique, each with its own challenges, yet each is rewarded with measurable engagement, enjoyment and success.

Good communications shouldn’t happen in isolation, and my breadth of experience covers copywriting, social media, marketing strategy, campaigns, brand management, and event management.

I believe in doing things differently, so if you’re stuck for ideas, need a social media content overhaul, web copy, or perhaps just a helping hand. I will bring a fresh perspective and a Tigger-like creative energy.

Danny Roberts at Lincoln City Football Club for Cockadoodledoo

Social & Digital Marketing Manager

Danny Roberts

Danny’s passion for sport started at a young age, becoming an avid Sunderland AFC fan through no fault of his own. After an initial journey in the performing arts world, Danny moved into Sports Journalism, gaining a masters degree at the University of Lincoln. He has a wide range of skills, and has built social media accounts from the ground up to reach a whopping 100,000 followers.

In his free time, you’ll either find him in the terraces at the Stadium of Light, at a bowling alley or playing football.

Communications and Engagement Manager

Cadi Lambert

When you can get Cadi to sit down, she loves to weave words together to create inspiring copy and storytelling. This joy of writing, combined with a passion for being active outdoors, drew Cadi into the sports industry through working for a National Governing Body and other outdoor industry organisations. Cadi enjoys finding what lights a spark in people, so she can draw out their stories and promote what it is they do and care about.

Away from the laptop Cadi can be found running very long distances (sometimes the whole length of a country!), wild swimming, cycling, hiking up a hill or riding her horse. She is often accompanied by her two rescue dogs on her adventures. Ask her about her how a run on a beach in Morocco ended with a six month mission to bring a dog home!

Marketing Executive

Mollie Hine-Maddock

With over six years of experience in marketing, Molly is passionate about all things social media and content, helping drive brand success. Molly has had the privilege of working with a diverse range of businesses, helping them create compelling content and build brand awareness.

Outside of work, you can find her at the gym or spending quality time with her identical twin girls, Poppy & Millie. She also enjoys boxing as a fun way to stay active and challenge herself.

Senior Designer

Dan Jones

Dan has always had a passion for both sport and design, and loves nothing more than combining both together in his work. After initially studying Product Design at the University of Lincoln, Dan has accumulated a decade of experience working as a Graphic Designer. He has a broad skill set, a keen eye for detail, and can execute all the creative you may need for your marketing campaign.

In his free time, you can probably find Dan in his local CrossFit gym where he is a qualified coach, or on the golf course.

Videographer

Elliott Hayes

Elliot’s passion for videography began whilst studying Video Editing and post-production at Ravensbourne Creative University in London. Elliot bought his first camera at 18, and has a wide range of experience shooting videos across a variety of industries, giving him the insight to provide advice, shoot eye-catching footage and create an edit that fits your vision and reaches your target audience effectively.

In his free time, Elliott loves to be out surfing, in the hills & fells hiking and in the pub nursing a pint of leffe.

Matt Williamson

With a decade of expertise in web development, Matt has contributed to both large and small teams across various agencies in Leicester.

Developing his skills during this time, Matt now specialises in building fast, modern and easy-to-use websites, with a particular focus on performance and accessibility.

Matt possesses a rare skillset that includes a pragmatic approach to coding a website, as well as having a keen eye for creative design.

In his spare time—Matt sings and plays guitar in a ska punk band, and runs a three-day ska, punk and reggae festival every October. Somehow finding time for other things to do, Matt is also a life-long Leicester City fan and season ticket holder—and can be found playing 5-a-side (badly) most Wednesdays.
