#GoalsNotGlory

Marketing and Social media graphic for Active Nation, created by Lincolnshire creative Marketing agency Cock-a-doodle-doo.

About the project

Cock-a-doodle-doo was approached by Active Nation to develop and implement a creative communications campaign that inspired the Nation to be active.

The innovative campaign championed’ Fitness Unfiltered’ a more real and less polished approach to wellness, it was ‘Community-led and fun’, and identified ways to boost social connections and maintain motivation.

#GoalsNotGlory launched during the Commonwealth Games and what is a very British year, the year of the Queen’s Jubilee.

The key to this campaign is the goals are relatable. It didn’t matter if the goal is to climb the stairs or climb a mountain; it’s about making that pledge to yourself. It’s about #GoalsNotGlory.

#GoalsNotGlory was a national campaign with multiple elements delivered across social media, print, e-marketing, and direct mail. Cock-a-doodle-doo led the creative development and project execution across social, digital and print media.

Cock-a-doodle-doo organised a direct mail to 9k homes within a target area, managed a 3-stage e-mail marketing journey and a multi-asset social media campaign spread across five ad sets. The campaign generated nearly 500 leads, reached over 200k people, created over 500k impressions, and inspired 1.7k website visits.

What made this campaign special?

Cock-doodle-doo provided Active Nation with a team brief containing a challenge. The challenge was for each team member to share their goals. The team grabbed this opportunity with both hands; the team truly brought into this campaign inspirational stories and reels circulated weekly. The campaign was community-led fun, and those that took part became supporters of a #GoalsNot Glory community.
