Southampton Outdoor Sports Centre

A creative architecture design for LK2, client of Lincolnshire based creative marketing agency Cock-a-doodle-doo.

About the project

Cock-a-doodle-doo was approached by Architects LK2 to support them in sharing the story of the Southampton Outdoor Sports Centre and what was a master plan of improvements for large-scale sport and leisure regeneration.

We were delighted to be asked to tell the story of one of the UK’s most significant, wide-ranging community sports projects for a team that was the guiding force behind a transformational design that brought with it enormous social, health and community benefits.

Over three months, we produced a trilogy of social media articles and accompanying graphics, each giving insight into a project that captured the hearts and minds of the LK2 team since it first crossed their desks ten years earlier.

About the campaign

Alongside local and regional coverage, Cock-a-doodle-doo secured features in industry-leading publications, including Architecture Magazine, Sports Nation and PSBJ Magazine.

It was a unique feat, and it was a pleasure to support the team in telling the story of a project that had its roots firmly in the community and will undoubtedly enhance sports, health, and well-being provision.

We contacted Emma and the team to work with us on a campaign for a project in Southampton. We had an idea for the PR we wanted, and the team helped us create a plan of action, including blog posts, video, imagery, and a press release. The team was efficient, and we were delighted to have them on board for the campaign.
