About the project

Cock-a-doodle-doo has supported the Rio Ferdinand Foundation’s development as a charity since 2021, bringing the Foundation brand to life through vibrant and compelling social media storytelling and significant media coverage.

Cock-a-doodle-doo’s first campaign for the Rio Ferdinand Foundation was the 2021 10th Anniversary youth-led campaign ‘United Against Racism’. Against the backdrop of the Black Lives Matter movement, the campaign received significant media coverage in its launch month.

Twenty-two pieces of coverage, 362K online readership and an estimated 3.3k coverage views.

Since 2021 Cock-a-doodle-doo has been the marketing and communications provider of the Foundation. We have impactfully shared the story of the Foundation’s partnerships and their collective ambition to create opportunities for young people.

About the project

As a team, we have created multi-format content, developed a new brand identity and prepared and distributed media releases to support the Foundation’s programme delivery with Warner Music, The International Fund for Ireland, Bauer Media Group, The Jockey Club, Laureus, UEFA Foundation, Ralph Lauren, and The Gym Group and a host of regional organisations.

The Foundation’s social media channels have seen sustained growth.

Quarter three 2023 Results: 600% increase in Facebook impressions, 1650% increase in Instagram profile reach, 200% increase in LinkedIn engagement. We also secured nine pieces of media coverage, 651k views and 1k engagements. EAV £28k.

Emma’s support has been invaluable to the work of our small team over the last few months. Her pick-and-mix support offer has meant she’s been able to jump in on a variety of areas, and we are already seeing the return. We highly recommend working with Cock-a-doodle-doo
