About the project

Cock-a-doodle-doo was asked to manage the UK-wide disability inclusion campaign #MoreThanSailing on behalf of the Royal Yachting Association. The PR campaign raises awareness of the opportunities for disabled people to take part in sailing regularly.

The campaign is true to its title #MoreThanSailing and is a campaign of inspiring personal stories that unlock a world of possibilities for its audience.

Moment to moment benefits, stories of courage and commitment are captured by Cock-a-doodle-doo via audio and visual means and shared through Social-Media, Media, Advertising and Events.

What made this campaign special?

In the first 12 months, Facebook engagement increased by 67%, generating a 272k increase in organic page impressions. Whilst the new Instagram page reached 30k new users.

Similarly, website traffic boomed with 19,641 Sailability page views, compared to just 364 YTD.

Cock-a-doodle-doo also supports the annual RYA Sailability Conference to deliver a series of marketing masterclasses to the club network, both online and in-person, on PR, Storytelling, and Campaign Planning.
